Fashionyatra.thrift didn’t start with a big plan, investors, or industry experience. It started with three college friends, a small dream, and the belief that we would figure it out.
Three Friends. One Risk. No Roadmap.
Back then, life looked very different. One of us was working as a delivery partner, while the other two were working at Zara. Fashion was always around us, but building a brand was completely new.
In 2022, we uploaded just 10 pieces on Instagram — no proper sourcing, no strategy, and no idea how scaling worked. Just trial, error, and the courage to start.
The initial days weren’t easy. Sales were slow, mistakes happened, and there were moments of doubt. But one thing stayed constant — we didn’t stop.
From A College Stall To Real Momentum.
Everything changed when we got an opportunity to set up a stall at NIFT. The response was overwhelming. People loved the concept, the products, and most importantly — they believed in what we were building.
That’s when we heard: “Do you have an offline store?” That question pushed us to take our next big risk.
We opened a small store in Ameerpet. Around the same time, one of our reels went viral, introducing us as Hyderabad’s first thrift store. That moment brought massive attention, new customers, and real momentum.
